Have You Ever Felt...

You don' t need to understand this
I' m just asking you to read it.

Have you ever felt like you' ve lost it all?
Like you have nothing left to live for?
Like you' re frozen at a dead end wall?

Have you ever felt so very alone?
Like everyone has betrayed you?
And left you to survive on your own?

Have you ever felt completely confused?
Like no words could quite describe
How inside your beaten and bruised?

Have you ever felt like everything' s wrong?
Like everything true has turned to lies?
And wonder why you haven' t realized all along?

Have you ever felt like breaking down to tears?
Because it' s the only thing this world allows?
And the one true emotion after all these years?

Have you ever felt like you just don' t know?
Like your mind goes blank and . . .
Life passes by in a motion so slow?

Have you ever felt that nothing matters anymore?
Like there' s nothing special here for you?
Have you realized.. you have nothing to live for?

    This is a very excelent poem and I'm sure most can relate and if they can't yet they soon will. Funny how life passes most people by while there planning for it, we often say don't worry there's always tomorrow, but one day there won't be. Excellent job 5/5 GG23

    Well written! a little choppy but why should a poem about being depressed be perfect! you communicated the feeling really well! and if u feel this way you;re not alone!
