Holiday Joys (Collab RTVW)

Holiday Joys

Winter Chill is in the air
Snowflakes dancing slowly down
Make a wonderland of white
Joy and laughter all around

Above the door a mistletoe
Presents 'neath the tree
Yule log adds a magic glow
Children laugh with glee

As the fire slowly burns
smell of egg nog and punch
fills the room and our hearts
rejoice on this merry brunch

Don the coats and mittens
Greet carolers in the snow
Twinkling lights abundant
Making angels in a row

Snowmen made by children
squealing with delight
bright red scarf around his neck
to keep him warm o'er night.

Duck behind an icy fort
Let the snowballs fly
Frozen toes and fingers
Ice skaters gliding by

Printed letters to Santa
Anticipation in a child's eyes
Nodding off to sleep
As St.Nick flies the skies
