Warm place to hide
Arms open and inviting
Promises of a better day
Words so enticing
It'll all get better
Or; it's not really bad
Don't worry love
One day you won't be sad
You whisper softly
Voice full of promises
But some things cannot
Be fixed by hugs and kisses
Sometimes the best remedy
Is the one that hurt the most
But sometimes in the pain
You find a little hope
