Dear Diary

Dear Diary,

Today has been so saddening,
I've tried my best, but I still failed,
The frustration I feel is maddening,
And all of my friends have bailed,

They all left, I'm writing alone,
No friends came to see you today,
They won't even call by phone,
Today has been a terrible day,

I'm sorry for getting you wet,
My tears wont stop falling,
But I guess thats what I get,
Sitting all alone, no friends calling,

You're the only one who cares,
Bored, empty, waiting to be used,
And the only one who shares,
My memories, of being abused,

I'm tired, my eyes are sore,
You're ruined from my tears,
So for today, I won't write anymore,
But I'll be back soon, to reveal more fears.

    I like how you likened the diary's situation to that of the character's, it's unusual but well written.
    Superb piece, keep up the good work!

    Also, I'm sorry I didn't get to this sooner, I've been moving house last week and with uni and my job, I've been really busy. Sorry again, but I'm glad I came, it's a great poem!

    Its a sad poem with a lot of potencial..if i spelled that right..what really stood out to me though, was the fact you used friends and friendship a lot. the poem could've been catagorized as a broken friendship or something like that. overall it was an amazing poem with a great structure.
