Never considered myself poetic, I'm more like a lover of words, but I can't help myself, I write a poem or two when feelings get overwhelming. |
Mirrored before her stains the image of her scream
A damage canvas tainted by cries of her dreams...
I apologize to you for my careless youth
For all the pain I've caused unable to soothe...
Baby confess to me your addiction for my skin
I know you want me, I urge you to drink me in...
I always feel like I'm something in between
Amidst the anger or joy but ever incomplete...
I know when you're lying.
It's in the way your voice shifts...
You arrive empty-handed, but somehow leave...
My time in your pockets...
You walk like trouble,
with smoke in your lungs...
I keep orchids
where your shadow used to fall...
I came to you like rain to stone,
not out of love, but what I’ve known...
