When we start treating the world as a dark a dangerous place, we become that darkness and danger.

It's hard to love as deep the second time
as we did the first.
The first time our emotions spill
everywhere carelessly.
Every feeling was new, never felt before.
The second time, our emotions are controlled, trained ,measured and caged.

Sometimes we settle for less because we're scared that we'll end up with nothing, and those with more share the same fear for 'nothing'. That's why you can't beat a man with nothing. He's fearless with absolutely nothing to lose.
