To show you that I’m real

To prove to myself that I still feel

I'm still smiling,
although now the smile is fake,
and behind it is a broken heart, shattered dreams and bloody tears.

Speak, shout, scream, cry.
Cut, bleed, gasp, die.
Still no-one knows I'm here.

She let go of her fake smile as a tear ran down her face and she whispered "I don't want to be me"

Im going to draw a picture
A picture with a twist
I shall draw it with razor blades
I shall draw it on my wrists

Your paper wings got ruined in the rain.
coat hanger halo got rusted
the lace fell off the dress you made.
your the saddest little angel
mascara left a sour taste.

& I'm not the girl I use to be
I have to admit, a lot of shit got to me

Forget who you are......

Remember who you were.....
