I would have to agree with Halloween.. I don't know there is just something about that mask that scares the crap out of me... LOL Everytime I watch it my dog has to be in my room and I have to have at least 2 lights on or I won't sleep.. Kinda pathedic but Micheal Myers scares me..LOL Just my opinion though.. There's a lot of other really good scary movies out there but Michael Myers is my biggest fear.. I know horrible...

I honestly didn't think Texas Chainsaw Massacre was that scary, I thought it was more gross and distrubing then anything.

But Saw 2 was WEIRD! I saw one scene((With the key in his eye)) and I stopped watching.

The old Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies are classic, is everybody talking about the new one or what?

I don't think anybody mentionned Friday the 13th. They were extremely corny, and got worse the more they made, but I thought they were okay.

House of wax SUCKED. I only watched it to see Paris Hilton die. Meh. i would have to say The Exorcist is the greatest horror movie ever made. Totally original, was banned from the cinema .. and TV, and had priests standing outside the theatres trying to stop people going in. It ruled.

  • RegretedPast

THERES A MOVIE BASED ON JEFFERY DAHMER???!?!?!? dude i did a report on him last year for a class.. i wanna c it.. and what other versions of saw 1 and 2 did they make? i heard theres a new 1 comming out soon like.. in june or july.. silent hill comes out next week for me, and i agree house of wax sucked.. but i jumped for glee when paris got stabbed with the iron pole.. lol.. oh.. and texas chainsaw massacure wasn't that bad.. i just liked it cuz it showed the acutal footage in the begining and end..thats what scared the the most.. the rest of the movie wasn't that bad.. the only part besides the benining and end were when the girls nail fell off when she tried to stop leatherface from taking her down from the basment..i dont noe why but i can't watch that part.... lol it's the little things that bother me

  • RegretedPast

I hated The Exorcist. I'm just too damn modern to be able to appreciate cheap special effects, borderline pornography, poor film quality, and badly written dialogue. Although The Exorcist did have some pretty wicked random pop-culture references that the Beginning so dearly needed. rather than turning Merrick into Indiana Jones. That, and the damn CGI hyenas. stupid CGI.

"The best"? Nah, never seen a horror movie that I actually appreciated.
The Project of the Blair Witch was "good" in that it accomplished what it needed to...I couldn't walk into a dark room for a few months after seeing it at a sleep-over.
But no, I've never seen a good horror film.

My favorites would have to be The Exorcist, The Shining, a couple of the Halloween movies (but certainly not all of them!), and most of the Nightmare On Elm Street movies. Those are the ones I can think of right now...but there are many more!

Well. The Excorcist caused 86 heart attacks, 12 deaths (not including the 9 people who died whilst filming, most notably Jack McGowran who played the part of Burke Dennings) and at lest two miscarriages.
Check 'www.thegoldenyears.com' if you don't believe me.
