Yeah, John Saul IS good. I was gonna say him, but I haven't read enough by him to say so. I did like "Nathaniel," though!

    Same deal with Christopher Paolini.

  • AGirlWorthFightingFor

Christopher Paolini is good, but the major hype around his success and *envy* is his relative young age. If he had published his novels as an adult, I don't know if they'd be as widely accepted.

J.R.R Tolkien, Phillip Day and Maya Angelou.

All three were intellectuals who wrote mesmerizing art. I applaud Maya and Mr. Tolkien for what they have left behind-and Phillip Day in his constant success in delivering the message of the future.

    God bless,
    -Elysium.

Wow J.K.Rowling is popular ... I'm not too keen on her. She's only famous becuase of Harry Poter, and they're becoming a bit to predictable and "samey"

My favourite authors would have to be:

    -Stephen King
-As sad as it is - Jacqueline Wilson. Because of the light-hearted way she portrays such serious issues.
    -William Shakespeare

    Theres more ..

But mostly i don't really look for the author ofa book .. I just read anything and see if I like it. Which I quite often do!
