Weeping Willow and the River (Reverse Double Ethree)

Untamed currents of silver ribbons flow
a refreshing language of movement,
naked and pure is her figure
with a morning smile that glints
across her serene face
like a naive child
she skips the rocks
and runs wild
with no
care

On
the edge
stands this tree
Weeping Willow,
his branches sway slow
spellbound by her beauty
he dips his hands into her
silvery soul to hold her once
but she slips away from his embrace
and he droops in sadness yearning for her

The poetry form, Etheree, consists of 10 lines of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 syllables. Etheree can also be reversed and written 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
