Other than you

by Black hole   Nov 20, 2017

All those things I want to say, fail to escape
from my heart in your presence.
They say this is, what love is made of,
a truth which has no sense.

If I say I love you, and you would not feel
the same, then who should I turn to?
They call it temporary, a common dilemma,
but I know; I can't live without loving you.

Everyone has a story of their own, but the
script of my life, starts & ends, with your name.
They address them as foolish who fall in love
knowing all the consequences of this game.

They stop me to go into that barren land,
haunted graveyard, or I will become like Mars.
But, I'm willing to take that risk as I don't see
any other girl who waits for me in the stars.

This is beautifully written and with a touching sentiment. Moving on is a difficult process but not impossible, and there is that one person destined for you. I felt the emotion so much.

This is beautiful and whilst I totally understand the sentiment, I have to believe that there's more than just one great love for each of us. Nothing ventured ... :-)
