Love, life and stories

At fifteen years old,
when I first met a
girl and fell In love.

I would only need
to tell her what my
mother and father
were like, and if I had
a pet..
brother or a sister.

I could of written this
on the back of
a matchbox and give
this to her.

at twenty six when
I fell in love again, it
would be as above but
with added information
such as, my previous
relationships, work...
and where I have been
on holiday.

So maybe a pamphlet
would suffice, my life-
story so far, and given
this to her.

Now!

at fifty if I fell in love
again, would I have
enough time to write
her a book of
my life?

    I loved this piece. I think the older people get the more interesting they become. You are the sum of all of your life experiences and full enough of wisdom to know when you meet that perfect someone who will be perfect for you for the rest of your life :) Very glad to see this nominated.
