I Let The Knife Win Again

Taking out this shiny knife
I make a new cut tonight
Even though I try to give it up
The knife always wins the fight

Living in my crumbled world
The knife is my last resort
Cutting away night after night
It's giving me moral support

I dress my body everyday
In threads of crimson red
Exposing the type of life I live
And my intentions to be dead

And this shiny silver knife I have
I keep close to my heart
Just in case my heart just aches
I'll tear it all apart

This pain I feel is unbearable
I wish to feel no more
I wish for my body to be so numb
Like it never did before

Sixteen years of torment
I don't know how much more I can take
I need for this pain to go away
Before I fall and break

As I stand so frozen
And I stare deep into the knife
I see it feigning for my blood
I see it feigning for my life

I try my hardest to win the fight
But I just can't take the pain
It's the same old routine every night
I let the knife win again

    Oh hunny that sounds all too familar to myself. I have often wondered how I got myself so addicted to self harm, but now I love it which is REALLY BAD, but yeah it isn't painful anymore I mean so I don't like it, it feels nice, and freeing so much so that it creeps me out. I wish you the best of luck and maybe we can both pull through. Good luck hunny! If you need a person to talk to I am around for ya!

    That poem was like really intense it said so much and i can totally relate to like the whole thing its really good your an amazing writer but tryy to keep your ehad up and try your best to win the fight you have the strength you just have to find it
