The darkness lost our fight.

Now that I'm free, I'm twirling in the rain
Giggling with the stars
Gossiping with the moon
Fixing my battered heart
Flying with the wind
Glowing with the fire
And sparkling like the water.

When presented with the opportunity to either stand by once good principles that now facilitate harm or adapt to change by abandoning principles in order to put an end to harm, why on earth would anyone choose to stick by their principles?
