Bridge of ruby yawns and stretches,
waking pool of cerulean blue...
Like a mother bear and her cub,
you don't let anyone harm me...
Sing, sing oh morning breeze
and calm the solemn, envious night...
For once the clock strikes midnight skies,
the winter shines; the tendrils gleam...
When Spring arrives to take the lead,
all silence befalls the rising sun...
Silver footsteps in the snow,
padded prints so small and free...
Did you hear me, my voice just a whisper
Above all the noise of the crowd...
Sit down and breathe,
Watch as people come and people leave...
A wilted rose turning brown,
Pokes out from the sodden ground...
The silver line
caresses snow and kisses...
Lying down in a field of lush green
Watching the sunset, colors of tangerine...
My hands can touch, feel and caress
yet my hands face such loneliness...
