Diversion

by Krathia   Mar 24, 2008

It never takes long for
My mind to wander
To my Happy Place
Where muscled warriors conquer
And handsome mages reign
And knights and rangers bicker
Amongst each other
Against each other
Because there is nothing better to do.
My concentration
Is blown away like a light mist
And usually it's brought back
By the rustle of schoolwork
That I never heard about.
Heartbeat after heartbeat
I wait
As they try to teach me
Things that will
Never be of any use to me
Things that my warriors
And mages
And bickering knights and rangers
Long to know of
In their simple, tedious lives

A very creative piece, that expressed your feelings about schoolwork and how you just wish to be in your happy place. It sounds like a wonderuful world! 5/5 from me, this was a joy to read. God Bless You!
