Alter Ego

Mystery outlining the contour,
Angelic soul - none can devour,
Timid yet Invincible Attitude,
Crimson tears shed in solitude,

Black cascade of Rapunzel tress,
Reserved temper rarely frets,
Dancing feet slender built,
A smile that never wilt,

Contained emotion burst through,
Rhymic words expressed to few,
Ensuing inseparable shadow,
Omnipresent alter-ego.

    Line 5 "as Rapunzel's tress" Is a thought perhaps.
    Still the metre/rhythm disrupts the flow.

    I can't remember the last time i tried reading a poem under miscellaneous category.It was nicely written, though the meaning is common still you manage to describe differently from the usual poems that i've read before. the emotion is vividly sad. keep it up!
