Today...

Yesterday is gone....
Can't walk that path, anymore.
Tomorrow is unknown,
Don't know what it, has in store.

Today is before me...
It's a path I must take,
God help me to do it justly,
For Your name's sake.

Help me overcome the burdens,
That I find each day...
When I'm helpless, lost, and lonely,
Dear God, help me to pray.

For your Love it is Allpowerful,
There's nothing You can't do...
Please help me along life's pathway,
To believe in You.

    We have to live each day as it comes. We may not go back to "yesterday" at least we shouldn't. We should not rewalk the paths we have crossed, yet proceed forward and look forward to the next day. We should proceed to the future. I really loved how you expanded on that idea; I could feel a sense of optimism in your words. Loved this.. you did great!

    we should believe in god and ourselves too ...

    just a suggestion:
    //Don't know what it, has in store//
    try using comma after 'what'... it makes the read more easy :)

    Faith in God is the most important thing we have. We may not always understand why things happen but if we pray and turn them over to Him, it lightens the burden. Good job.
