Isle of my Dreams

by Lonely Rider   Jan 13, 2010

Surged the darkest waves
below violet firmament,
flashed streaks of fire
danced a fallen star.
Icicles formed, wintery cold,
and leaned on the window,
chapped faith awaits
a summer afternoon,
curled in creepy shadows,
the Isle of my dreams.

Icy solitude shattered,
when dawned a silver cloud,
scattering amber rays,
upon molten sand,
golden grains of time.

Smiled, the isle of my dreams.

*claps* Bravo! I'm a sucker for a poem with some great diction and boy was this just pouring out amazing words. I read this like five times and each time I was shocked. Such a creative piece. Loved it :) Nik

Very nice Raj. We all have an Isle of our dreams and those dreams do give us hope and break through the dark times.
