They Speak Of An End, Lord

by jescelle   Sep 8, 2010

I asked Him in a fearful time,
"Is what I'm believing right?"
I felt His response, the hand on my cheek,
"Come, and I'll show you tonight."

I was curious to end confusion,
"In Time's of Fear", what page?
Soothed but still so thirsty, so,
I opened and engaged.

Reading and still asking Him,
"But what will become of us?"
He knows me well, so I read on,
"I am with you, believe in trust."

I didn't need to study, then,
Each word hit home so hard.
Every detail I recognized,
And again, I stood His guard.

Deceived but not on purpose,
There is evil to be purged.
But fighting wars to end the wars?
That path gets more diverged.

"Love them where they stand," He said,
"Bring joy to where you go."
"Speak the words I give to you,"
"And you'll reap all that you sow."

Crying on the paper now,
These scriptures are well used.
Still praying for forgiveness, when,
He said "Your not confused."

This time He invited me,
We aimed to save the lost.
Sat and we discussed the world,
How far gone and at what cost.

I pondered on that thought a while,
This was not for my redemption.
This was bringing love to spark old faiths,
For the grander scale exemption.

Blessed with focused and able words,
I must tell them who search the truth.
I see their need as I always have,
Diluted through their youth.

Go back to Him and do not stray,
Don't break His heart again.
Let Him heal what the world has broken,
When they speak of an impossible end.

    WOW!!

God is amazing isn't he?? i was so exited reading this poem for many reasons. One, because another young person was writing about God, Two, the whole message was dead on! and Three, it brought comfort to me!

I get upset sometimes when people bash the bible without reading it or studying it themselves. More than half the time they have no idea what they are talking about. They are missing theese beautiful scriptures like you pointed out. its really sad.

Keep your faith. Keep reading the word. Never let the enemy seal your joy! Gods given you a talent to write, use it for him. This was awesome!

This title does not appeal much to me, I would have chosen "Impossible End"

    Crying on the paper now,
    These scriptures are well used.
    Still praying for forgiveness, when,
    He said "Your not confused."
