Choking
With freedom
Shadow of church
Sweating crucifix
Vertigo forever
Time was alone and upset
Whiskey burns blurring memories
Fractured confidence disconnected
Brining on feelings of false contentment.

    Yeah...drinking does not solve anything; just
    makes one numb giving them a false sense of
    happiness to forget all...good job on the ethree!

    No clue what an etheree is...maybe why I don't write like this......should probably look it up :) that aside, your poem was good....written as though you were stoned when you wrote it.....Id say drunk, but I have yet to find someone who's brilliant...or even simply thinking deep when in that state of mind haha

    I could really relate to those two lines. I don't drink and don't plan on drinking because I've seen what it has done to my family and I don't want to be another nail in the coffin. I think this piece was very well written. I loved your diction. Nice work deary. -Nik

    I agree with Cindy, good job with the form. Drinking doesn't solve any problems, just creates more for a person.
