Whisper I'm so Sorry

Sitting, waiting for the door to open,
to see him walk through the door,
i try to find the perfect way to say,
I'm sorry i can't do this anymore
without breaking your heart.

Catching my breath,
reminding myself you can do this,
i hear the doorknob turn,
walking in with the biggest smile,
a beautiful bonquet of flowers,
he says hey baby i missed you so much.

Looking down at the ground,
i push myself off the bed,
tell him we need to talk,
seeing fear grow across his eyes,
realizing its time for goodbye.

Holding back my tears,
trying to stop my shaking,
i tell him I'm sorry i just can't do this anymore,
tears run down his face,
falling to his knees begging me to
not mean what I'm saying.

Not able to face the man i once loved,
i grab my bag,
leave for the door,
looking back one last time,
knowing i just destroyed his heart,
i whisper I'm So sorry.

    This is a great poem.... but if i am not wroing it should me in Sad catagory... that's what i think.. cuz it describes about being apart.. about hurting feelings... Words are so perfect... Poem describes everything so clearly as if i felt like i was in that situation... faboulas work.. this Stanza is so heart felt ..

    It shows how much love do you have between you two.. and it's really hard to be apart from your loved ones.. Great piece of work :):) 55/

    I love this poem is so beautiful, yet so heartrending. You penned something truly wonderful. The emotion in this piece is spectacular. There are a few uses of imagery but not many, and none are in detail. Your flow is great. The word choice is wonderful. I love the fact you start off strong and stay that way through the entier piece. 5/5

    Aamazing work, you could do well for a movie maker, producer lol, was able to picture up the scene ! LOVEd it, well done, I think this was well worded with a very honest tone and a very interesting one
