Equanimity In The Written Word.

by Steven Beesley   Jun 13, 2012

Words swirling around
and around in a tin cup
all jumbled up and
not in any order.

He is stumbling to find
the perfect diction,
the perfect rhyme.

His mind in a state
of chaotic intellectual
rebellion, bordering
meltdown.

Can he move past
the limitations and
succeed in his quest?

The jargon is garbled,
his efforts seemed to
be plagued by demonic
possession of his mind.

Style cramped, even the
flow of ink from his pen
feels constricted.

Will he ever regain his
composure and find
equanimity in the written
word?

This write sounds like a person who is undergoing
a writer's block and can't seem to have the right
words..I like the images each verse contains! Another good read :)

Now dont ask me why, but this verse made perfect sense to me .. I just got the whole sense of this poem just by this verse alone :O

And did I mention that the title is just PERFECT!!

One suggestion if I may, I think verse 4 and verse 7 would read better if you replaced the fullstop at the end with a question mark.

Really inspiring piece to me :)
