Father.

by Steven Beesley   Jun 18, 2012

Thirty years since you
have gone, but I still
remember your face
like it was yesterday.

Father, your wisdom
still is with me from
day to day and
our lengthy talks
are so missed.

Truly the days have
passed so differently
and now I have my
own words to impart
upon my own family.

But I feel your presence
still with me day to day,
the same advice still
valid and cherished
to this day.

Thirty years have been
too long, my memory
of you shall never
be gone.

We can't ever forget our parents for they have taught us many a lesson and parted many wisdom and meaningful messages which still resonates and is passed on to our children. A touching write :)
