Nyctophilia

There's something about
the space between
empty streets and
broken lamp posts -

nature's incense cloud
whispering pathways,
inviting creatures
of the night to
roam peacefully.

Here I believe the title is the strongest part because it ties into the poem very.very well. I think here you are saying that there is a whole new world between night and day. I loved the imagery actually probably more than most because I can see a character going on a night walk or sharing an experience they know about. The word incense I believe works well here because I think at night nature is more lingering. You can hear and smell a lot more. I loved how you say nature as it'sown scent. It really does bbecause nature has it's own little world. Also loved the use of the word peacefully because it keeps with the calm tone through out the whole poem. The tone is great and though it is a short piece you make a strong impact and describe what a lot of people don't know. That nature can be fully alive. :) beautiful
