My Savior, My Love

I was lost
I've fallen so far
But then you came
Like a shooting star

You gave me hope,
You made me dream,
You opened my eyes,
You completed my being

You are the light,
when nights are dark
Looking in your eyes
I can see them spark

You are my miracle
A gift from above
You made me believe
The existence of love

With you i feel peace
like im a better me
Right beside you
Is where i want to be

    I figured this write was about a parent or guardian, a family member. Such a beautiful deceleration of love and longevity, I hope the person who receive this was happy.

    I enjoyed this! I could read the feeling being expressed! I unbuttoned either it being about a lover or even a child. Very beautifully written with a really good flow! I can't critique it bc there is nothing I'd change! Thank you for sharing :-) -Jay 5/5

      Lol yeah, sharp eye, though i think its quite noticeable, i still thought no one would notice that, i wrote this poem thinking about two things and it was either a lover and a child :)
