Silence

In the times we met,
We would always stay silent -
Perhaps trying to gather
The memories and feelings
Which we could never quite
Mould into words.

There was a warmth, perhaps a comfort,
In this silence we shared -
Though we would not dare to think
We understood each other.
For we lived in worlds too far apart,
After all.

    I absolutely loved this and as Brenda said, just being with someone sometimes that you know totally understands is enough. I for one am pretty shy and until I know someone properly they don't know the real me as I have said it before and will say it again, I am a hard nut to crack.

    Sometimes just being with another person and not saying a word, absorbing each others space is a good thing. It's hard to actually speak to someone perhaps you have known maybe online for awhile but to actually meet for the first time, it's daunting. I think you did a really nice job with this write-
