The Touch Of An Angel

by CJ Maleney   Mar 16, 2017

A touch so light,
It's not felt on skin,
But so powerful
It's felt within.

A burning thing
Within the heart.
Ghost fingers moving,
The warming starts.

They tend the wound,
They start to heal.
Erase the dark,
So you can feel.

They bring you back
They show you light.
They crush the hatred
Erase your fight.

You did not know
That they were there,
Sunk in your pit
Of hate and despair.

The pulse, the rhythm,
Your heart starts to beat
Their job is done
The hands retreat.

    Aw thank you.

It's about how little people can make you smile even in your darkest moments.

This is just so beautiful and its so weird when it feels like someone has touched you yet no one is around, maybe its those loved ones looking after us, telling us they're there or maybe just a spider running a mock lol. Sorry got my 'funny' head on today.

Wish I hadn't used all my votes that's for sure.
