Precious Things

by CJ Maleney   Apr 10, 2017

Little precious things,
That need treated with care.
Handled with love and tenderness
To hold but not to share.

Not all the precious things
Come in the form of jewels and gold.
Not trinkets in a box,
Or paper you can fold.

Please don't hide them away.
It's something people need to see.
Do not put them in a vault,
Nor under lock and key.

Let them free to radiate,
Show their beauty to the world,
And if they ever start to fade,
Clutch them tight in your enfold.

    Craig,
what a lovely piece. I do have a habit of hiding precious things away and you are correct, we should show them to the world.

Well done on a lovely write. the rhyming is spot on. :)
