Astral Hugs

It's been years
since I last saw you

... in person ...

Yet, a few nights ago
I found myself standing in your room
you glanced in shock at me
as tears began to leak from your eyes

I only had but a few minutes

So, after a quick hello to your husband
I gently wiped your cheeks dry
placed a soft kiss upon your lips
looked at your beautiful face
and whispered ....

"I miss you my Sunshine and I'll love you always"

Then after a warm embrace,
a smile and a nod of my head

I was whisked away and
found myself, once again,
in my own bed

    Aww such a sweet, sad poem Angie. Special friendships are hard to come by, but once in a lifetime you meet someone with whom life becomes brighter.

    I'm bawling.......I'm in full blown tears.....

    I miss you so much!!!! You did visit me......

    I was just thinking about our walk on the beach in Florida keys.....

    I love you ang....we both miss each other....this poem made me bawl....but it melted my heart as well

      We had some wonderful times, many long chats, lots of laughter and tears, what a bond we share... love of the moon and trees ... I miss you so damn much, I love you
