Lullaby (by Sofia Chatterbox aka my daughter Dani)

by CJ Maleney   Dec 4, 2017

Hush now,
Quiet now,
Be still now,
For now.

Let your dreams take you where ever you feel,
Let them guide you to your future,
Let them be the light as the darkness swallows you,
Let them be free in your mind.

Let them glide through the sky,
Let them lift you up high,
Let them shelter you from the rain,
Drift to sleep in their softness

As they sing their Lullaby.

It is the innocence and positivity of youth which shines through in this piece, and it's those qualities which quite literally made a miserable man of 36 smile as he read.
Pass my best on to your talented girl, Craig.

    All the best as ever.
