My special friend

by Dagmar Wilson   Feb 24, 2018

I cherish those moments
the times I have with you,
your presence gives me great comfort.
I can be myself.

Your long reaching arms
with soft touching hands,
you know when to say nothing.

How can I not miss your hugs
the ones I have chosen,
I am particular in whom I can trust.
I honor your wisdom.

You have given me a new perspective on life,
my friend is a tree.

I love this Dagmar. I had a bit of a 'thing' about a beautiful blossom tree at my last house. I just loved it and I was more sad about leaving the tree than my actual home! :-) x

Beautiful. Trees are so majestic and silently wise. They see hundreds of years of history and hear and see so many secrets yet never breath a word and stand steadfast and unmoving. What better traits in a friend could you wish for. Best wishes Milly x

And no more trustworthy a friend could be found anywhere, Dagmar. They have a quiet dignity and purpose in life that they strive for and are rarely distracted from. Except when us humans come along and cut their graceful lives short. Still, no surprise there, I guess.

All my best to you as ever,

    Ben
