Sun Sheet

by Sunshine   Mar 7, 2018

Worried & lonesome,
dispirited I sit
in this quiet forest,
nothing fills my ears
but silence and the rustle
of autumn leaves.

Their hustle eases my
lonesome soul but
bears down my heavy heart.

My head held by
cold and breeze,
frozen inside out
I wait for the sweet sun
to dress me in its
warm warm yellow sheet..
