Evening thoughts

by William Mae   Jul 20, 2018

I could think a million things,
From sunset to mornings dew,
Yet every thought that I conceive,
Eventually turns to you.

I could think about the weather,
Sunny days on fields of grain,
But I turn to evening kisses,
On a deck in evening rains.

When dreams arise as they oft do,
They come of their own course,
Who controls wanting dreams,
When welcomed without remorse.

I could say I will not dream
Or measure the souls desire,
Yet they come by pure free will,
And because they are inspired.

Making love in passions light,
Breeds a sweating hungry feed,
Giving all we have and more,
To fulfill our wanting needs.

Cheek to cheek in loves embrace,
Brings whispers sighs and moans,
Tightened muscles find release,
Inside this love we own.
