cooler air has moved in carrying a distinct smell within,
trees are halfway naked with no birds in sight.
There is an unusual calm.

This gave me chills!! It’s like living the words you describe, like I could feel the cold air crawling into my bones, and the smell of wet wood tingling my nose. Simple but beautiful.

The silence before the big storm...liked the simplicity of your words
and in just a few lines there is a heaviness and mystery...take care

There is something so unnerving about the calm after a storm. It can seem like the world has come to a stop. So glad you are ok. Lovely to read your poetry again. Milly x

Dagmar, I've missed your simplicity. Your writing has always touched me. <3

The title fits perfectly. You are no stranger to these storms.

Just a beautiful piece that details the calm after the storm.
