What lost-love can do

At times I feel you are here, as I write
like you are breathing from the page,
flowing through my body-
my thoughts

its like I cant control what I write,
(which I don’t in truth)
as the words come from you

a feeling that resonates so deep within me
as I write about us

Its like I want to explain it, so it is
clearer in my mind, but I cant

I could be talking non-sense;
a result of yearning for you,
but if you were really here right now,
I am sure you would say
there are no rules to love or poetry-
love can be so profound, its just beautiful
and mystical

now did I just write that, or did you just say that?
