Ribbit (acrostic)

by Mr. Darcy   Feb 26, 2019

Down on the pond
And the lily pads sit,
In a line, you will find. . .
Seven froglets – ribbit
Yes, ribbit, yes ribbit

Blue black flys in
Ev'ry size
Leaping and crunching, a
Lunching surprise. . .
Eat-ribbit – munch-ribbit, burp-ribbit

Whoosh, a Heron - Watch
As they dive. . .
Returning each one, they all survived: So they
Dance. . . yes, ribbit, grin-ribbit, sing-ribbit.

.
