Moonchild

Maiden of the night a breath taking splendor
Outshines million of stars that blanket the sky,
Ocean her timeless lover dances to her melody
Natural is their love which will never fade or die,
Churning hearts who look upon her ethereal face
Hums a song of desire to grow within love birds,
In one tender moment she takes them to a dream place
Lighting a trail to explore passion’s unspoken words,
Destiny rests in her hand when souls lock in embrace.

    I'm not sure what I expected here! Perhaps some kind of kick back to the song

    what I read instead was something pretty special.
