Filled by your rhymes

by Meena Krish   Apr 2, 2019

Thoughts of you and me
rips my sleep apart driving
me to write many a verse
of the dreams it sparks,

But fear stands like a pillar
throws my words into a form
restricting emotions and thoughts
with syllabus to count,

Amid a message of blank verse I
sculpt an image to disguise
as I swirl with a cinquain in my heart...

and towards the end I discover
a quatrain filled with only your rhymes

What a wonderful and beautiful poem. So many thoughts come from it for me. As many unsaid things as those that’s spoken. You have such a gift for writing
