Little Billy and, his Time Machine

Little Billie and his Time Machine

I hid it in a secret spot where mommie doesn’t clean, but, I’m not trying to be mean, don’t want to cause a scene.
This morning, while still in my jammies, I pushed the machine’s big red button, there was a puff of smoke, turning of gears, bells, and whistles. I said, take me to the cookie jar, it was a short trip, our cat surprised, paused at her milk before taking a sip.

It was at Noon that I said;take me to the Moon, in a blink of an eye, I was there, but, I found no blue cheese, only fine dust that made me sneeze.
The earth looked like one of my blue marbles, a real marvel. I decided to go back to the good earth, check out it's girth, explore the deep, for me a great leap!

Now, the bottom of the Ocean I want to see, a whale was looking strangely at me, then, he gave me a wink of the eye.Very dark down here, but, the machine’s light brought beautiful things to my sight, all the colors of the rainbow surrounded me, an occasional shark, I did see.

Sleeply now, take me home, a soft knocking woke me, mom said son, what was all those strange noises I heard, I said; I was just playing with my Time Machine, she gave a loud laugh, and said; come for breakfast, with all your wishes, maybe you can get your machine to wash the dishes.
