Jump

by Maud   Mar 5, 2021

A part of you wants to scream.

Wants to say, don't do this again, it's not worth the pain.

But the smart part knows better.
Says sunny weather is to come and your eyes will shine once more. You know it's worth it, so don't listen to that voice, it's only trying to bring you down.

You were made to persevere, so don't hide away in fear of pain. You know you can take it if it comes to you.

It may come but maybe, it won't.
Maybe this once you'll get lucky.

Your life may open up its horizons, letting the light in that's clearly been missing.
Just kiss them and tell me it's not worth it. Tell me the feelings you get aren't worth taking a chance.

Life is full of obstacles and you will fall but why not accept a stretched out hand to help you up?
A hand to hold when you're scared. Arms to hold you when you're cold or just to be close. Something to make you feel like humans again.

Let go of the negative and take a chance. Jump in and feel the wind through your hair, go there, be aware of every sensation. Concentrate on the feelings, don't worry about the little things.

Just jump.

If you give it some trust, you never know, there might be arms to catch you or again stretched out with a hand and a smile, all the while taking the same leap you are.

Have hope and let love out but don't be afraid to take it in. To feel like yourself again.

Give out your heart and live like you may get one in return.

Life is full of surprises and lessons learned.

So jump.

And pick yourself up again if it hurts.

Loving others can be easy, but trusting them fully is another level. Finding the way to love yourself unconditional is, perhaps, the best love of all!

This is so much about new love after being hurt. Just knowing that you’re scared and still jumping into it, because you know better.
