would swirl your romantic mood
in a water coloured pond and bathe
your thoughts in a deep-blue
lavender sky

you’d paint
candles in the clouds
that made my
face light
up

softly,
with the tip of your finger
you would smudge my lips
with a
kiss

leaving an artists
impression of love
upon my
