my eyes can’t keep contact
with the camera lens,
not because they shy away
but they never learned how
to stay fixed on one object.

my brain is always overworking
herself, transmitting several
images as one every single
split second.

my heart falls in panic when she
realizes how hard it’s pumping,
when the thought of a double
image emerges.

The last 2 lines really hit me personally. Everyone can see the same exact thing differently. Our minds, if we’re not careful, can go into a spiral of the myriad of ways ours actions could be perceived. Good read, thank you.

Nystagmus came to mind when I read the first paragraph. Particularly the one caused by Vit B1 deficiency or double vision and involuntary eye movement can be some of the symptoms but anyways, lol been reading lots

I’m not saying that’s what this someone is experiencing but just sharing what popped to mind as I read.

I like the ending. I also like the second stanza. Can relate sometimes not always but sometimes.
