Autumn Woods

by Ink   Apr 5, 2023

I walked in the woods today,
through the bronze and golden leaves
that lay strew from autumns sigh,
the silence almost beckoning,
the sultry limbs of the beach trees bow in reverence as I wander between them, even they couldn't brush the cobwebs of sadness that cling to me still.

Autumn's colors make us go wow but the sadness which lays on the ground matches the sadness with in us at times. I don't know if I made sense...nonetheless liked the read.
