Melted tears (for every broken angel)

as the tears slowly fade
from sight of naked eyes
i question if you know
how many melted tears i cry

as my wounds slowly scar
upon my fragile skin
i wonder if the bruising
will ever vanish from within

i wonder if my torn heart
will ever learn to mend
or if my tattered seams
could ever reform and blend

i imagine all the rainbows
that never seem to show
maybe they're just nervous
so instead decide to go

maybe the happy bunnies
with the smiles and the glee
are afraid to show their faces
scared by the desperate pleas

is there really such a place
where troubles are unknown
if so why are we stuck here
in this lonely so called home

if there's someone out there watching
why is there so much pain
why cant the crimson tears
never be seen again

why cant the endless bloodshed
from the saddened angels souls
ever be filled will happiness
told how to fill each hole

why cant every friend found
in a knife, scissors, a blade
become a rock, a hand to hold
to rid every scar it made

why cant these battered hearts
be shown a path to lead
to a land free from grief
to a land free from need

no need for blood
no need for tears
no need for screams
no need for fears

where the rainbows do appear
and the bunnies sew each seam
where each tool is thrown away
so each soul can live its desired dream

so please the land of hope
or whoevers watching now
please rid the melted tears
please show each angel how
