The Flower

A flower grows in the dark,
loneliness has left its mark,
it receives no warmth, only rain,
the constant cold emphasizes its pain,
nobody ever notices the little flower,
it remains ignored hour by hour,
the beautiful roses that grow near,
know they have nothing to fear,
someone will always love and adore the roses,
they're the ones people want to choose,
the lonely flower has nothing to lose,
since it has already lost it all,
the little flower forever will remain unseen and small
