I dare you

by PAUL HEWSON   Feb 18, 2005

In my shoes
i dare you to tread
i dare you as well
to live life in my head
I'm my dreams
i dare you to sleep
i dare you as well
to keep the memories i keep

you couldn't win
not in my shoe
whatever you think
i bet you you'll lose

you couldn't live life
not in my head
whatever you think
you'll wish you were dead

you cant paint colors over black background
you cant scream out and not make a sound
you cant undo all those things that you've done
lord , ill pull the trigger if you hold the gun
