Behind The Mask

by Heather M Craig   Mar 13, 2005

To Shaun (Dark Savior)

Every step you were to take
was nothing but retrieval of pain.
The life lived of your heartache
kept you in shadows of constrain.

The disguises to hide your heart
beyond those who take it away
left bitterly cold in depart
and repeatedly took into dismay.

But I look into the soul of the masks
to disappear its every trace,
I see the future that emerges from the past
and the sterotype was replaced.

I love who you are and I'm a friend to that,
the soul , the heart, the flawless mind,
for I don't like the facades and the masks
I like the real person in you, I find.

Heather M Craig.

Thank you very much heather, i am so happy to be thought of in such a manner, but not everyone will know what this means. But it means a lot to me that you have wrote the poem about me.

Perhaps soon you will be putting it up in the love section of the poems *nudge* haha.

    Love ya Lots,
    Shaun.
