The End of All Hope

My life is a shadow
without you near.
Where have all feelings gone?
Why am I here?

In the absense of love
one can tell what is true.
But everything deceives me
and still I long for you.

Betrayed by my own feelings
and the blindness that they brought

There is little left to live for.

But what escapes their eyes
