My Angel

You are my angel
the one I adore
But now I sit besides you
as you tell me not to fear
for now god is calling you
to be besides him up there

your fighting for your life
as I am fighting the tears
afraid to loose you I sit in a stare
for why take you
you are only in the dawn of life
you are to important to me
I still need you down here

in your eyes
I can see all of the times we have shared
the bonds and laughs
these memories are just what i need
to fill me with happiness

i take your hand
and place it in mine
so genlte
so kind
you grip onto my hand
afraid to let go
afraid to leave
the words I love you are shared
over and over

the grip is still strong
as i swear that I will never let go
The tears now seem to come down
harder then ever

slowly your grip starts to loosen
and so does mine
for now i know its time
I take one last stare into those eyes that i will miss dearly
your hand leaves mine
as i go to grap it back
emotions are to strong as i turn away
I know that you are gone
The tears are coming once again
but for you are not there to wipe them away no longer

your wings have spread
as you take off for flight
my angel
as flown away
now i wait for that day
that our eyes fill meet again
